Summer Youth Track Club (Summer 2017)

Program Start: June 6, 2017
Program Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Montgomery High School, track meets every other Tuesday at Montgomery from 6-8 p.m.
Goal Race: Empire Runners Summer Track Series
Program Fee: $85*, $75 for returning participants *family discounts available
Description: The Fleet Feet Santa Rosa summer youth track program is about promoting confidence and enjoyment for youth to participate in the Summer Track Series by Empire Runners. The group is designed for ages 6-13 (age exceptions may be allowed after discussion with the coach). Every other Tuesday the program will allow kids to race in the Summer Track Series with the guidance of coaches. The kids will learn all the track basics, differences between sprinting and long distance, what type of track events there are, and learn which events they prefer. This program will primarily focus on running events and long jump. Overall, the main purpose of this program is to show kids how to enjoy running, racing, and competing. Beginning and Intermediate tracts available. Tuesday and Thursday practices will be held at Montgomery High School and every other Tuesday track meets (five total) will also take place at Montgomery High School. Information Meeting is Tuesday, May 30, at 6 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports. Family discounts available. Registration will open March 25, 2017. Questions? Half Marathon Training (Summer 2017)

Program Start: May 27, 2017
Program Schedule: Saturdays at 7:45 a.m.
Goal Race: Water to Wine Half Marathon
Program Fee: $99, $79 for returning participants
Description: Train to run or run/walk your first half or improve your race time. This training will prepare you for a half marathon by increasing your run fitness through gradually increasing mileage, working on run form, better bio-mechanics, and coached workouts to help you run faster. First run is 6 miles and each week the distance increases by a mile. To get the most out of this group, we suggest that you currently run or run/walk 5 miles and able to maintain a 14 minute per mile pace. Summer/Fall Trail Group (Summer/Fall 2017)

Program Start: June 25, 2017
Program Schedule: Sundays at 7:30 a.m. and Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.
Goal Race: Berkeley Trail Run or Eldrith Gosney's Pure Ultra
Program Fee: $99 for 14 week training or $129 for 18 week training (does not include race fee)
Description: Do you like running trails? We live in a beautiful area with some amazing trails to run. Most runs will be in Annadel State Park but there will be some destination runs where carpooling will be encouraged. First meeting on Channel Drive at Cobblestone Trail Head. Give us a test run prior to signing up. Two race goals: • Part one training is for the Berkeley Trail Run on September 23 at Tilden Regional Park. 10K, half marathon, 35K, 50K This is 14 week training for $99 • Part two training is optional and includes 4 more weeks (18 weeks training for $129). Goal race is Eldrith Gosney's Pure Ultra at Muir Beach, 11K, half marathon, 36K, 50K on October 21. Participants will receive coached training sessions twice a week, numerous free clinics, weekly emails, and technical shirt. Sunday runs will vary in distance and intensity, most will be hilly and challenging. Runners must already be ready to run 4-5 miles for half runners or 8+ miles for 35K/50K runners. CIM Marathon Training (Fall 2017)

Program Start: August 5, 2017
Program Schedule: Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. & Saturdays at 7:30 a.m.
Goal Race: California International Marathon
Program Fee: $199
Description: The Sacramento Running Association (SRA) and Fleet Feet Sports have partnered to bring you a California International Marathon (CIM) training experience like no other! The Official CIM Training program has everything –experienced coaches, ability-based training schedules and marathon specific seminars along with a private bus to the starting line, warming hut & bathrooms on race morning. While this marathon training is filled with perks, at its core it is about building a community of people who share a passion and who want to work together to reach their goals. This program is about encouraging and motivating one another to do your best. Whether you are looking to simply finish, improve on a previous time or qualify for Boston, this program will leave you a better, faster and smarter runner.
