We have dedicated and experienced coaching staff who use scientific principles and proven training techniques to get you across the finish line. Whether you are looking to get started on your fitness journey, are dreaming of a half marathon finish or are a Boston qualifier, Fleet Feet Sports offers programs for all levels and abilities. Finally, a group setting is uniquely motivating, and many find it easier to be consistent when meeting up with people.

5K to 5 Mile Training (Spring 2018)

Program Start: Tuesday April 3rd, 5:45 p.m.
Program Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:45 pm
Goal Race: No
Program Fee: $99
Description: This training is the perfect stepping stone for beginning runner or run/walker who has completed one or more 5Ks and are ready to move up in distance, but perhaps aren’t quite ready for a 10K. It’s also a great distance for more experienced runners who are looking to run faster times. Building the speed and aerobic strength you need to run your best 5-miler will make you a stronger runner all around and help you improve at other race distances. The group will meet twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday is speed work/tempo runs. Thursday evenings is your long run where we will train you up to the 5 mile distance gradually over 7 weeks. Training group fee is $99 and includes a technical training shirt.

Annadel Half Marathon Training Group (Winter 2018)

Program Start: Sunday January 21st at 8:00 a.m.
Program Schedule: Sundays at 8:00 a.m., Wednesdays for the Fleet Feet Fun Runs
Goal Race: Annadel Half Marathon
Program Fee: $99, includes a training shirt, does not include race registration
Description: Do you like running on trails? Train to run the Annadel Half Marathon with a bunch of awesome people and have a blast doing so. For 12 glorious weeks, this group will run in Annadel every Sunday morning (rain or shine!) at 8:00 a.m. starting January 21st. If you plan to join the group there is a mandatory meeting on January 14th at Fleet Feet Sports, 111 3rd St, Santa Rosa, at 9 am where we will go over the structure of the group, what to expect, and for you to meet and ask questions of the coaches. First run is 5 miles and each week the distance increases by .5 to 1 mile. Note: you should already be able to run 5 miles and be prepared for rocky, rooted quite technical hill runs. St. Patrick's Day 5K (Winter 2018) Morning Class

Program Start: Monday January 22nd, 9:00 am
Program Schedule: Monday and Wednesday mornings at 9:00 am
Goal Race: St. Patrick's Day 5K, City of Santa Rosa
Program Fee: $99 (includes shirt, but does not include race registration) $79 for prior FF participant

St. Patrick's Day 5K (Winter 2018) Evening Class

Program Start: Tuesday January 23rd, 5:45 p.m.
Program Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:45 p.m.
Goal Race: St. Patrick's Day 5K, City of Santa Rosa
Program Fee: $99, $79 for returning participants
Description: First run will take place on Tuesday, January 23 at 5:45 p.m. at Finley Center, corner of W. College Avenue and Stony Point Road. Meet near main entrance off of College Avenue. Group meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:45 p.m. at Finley Center. Questions may be directed to Coach Kathleen at kathleen@fleetfeetsantarosa.com

10K Training Group (Winter 2018)

Program Start: Saturday, February 24th at 7:45 a.m
Program Schedule: Tuesdays at 5:30 pm, Saturdays 7:45 am
Goal Race: IPA 10K on April 14th, or Windsor 10K on May 20th
Program Fee: $99 (does not include race registration) $79 for prior FF participant
Description: Train to run or run/walk your first 10k. This training will prepare you for a 10k race by increasing your run fitness through gradually increasing mileage, working on run form, more efficient biomechanics, and coached workouts to help you run faster and farther. To get the most out of the 10k group we suggest that you are currently running or run/walk 3 days/week with a minimum of 30 minutes per run, and able to maintain a 14 minute per mile pace or faster. Avenue of the Giants Half Marathon 5/6 or Windsor Half Marathon 5/20 (Spring 2018)

Program Start: February 24th 2018
Program Schedule: Tuesdays at 5:30 pm, Saturdays 7:45 am
Goal Race: San Rafael Half Marathon or Avenue of the Giants Half Marathon
Program Fee: $99, $79 for returning participants
Description: Train to run or run/walk your first half marathon or improve your race time. This training will prepare you for a half marathon by increasing your run fitness through gradually increasing mileage, working on run form, more efficient biomechanics, and coached workouts to help you run faster. First run is 6 miles and each week the distance increases. To get the most out of this group, we suggest that you currently are able to run or run/walk 5 miles and maintain a 14 minute per mile pace or faster. Group meets on Saturdays at 7:45 a.m. (7:30 during summer months) at various locations in Sonoma County, and on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. for speed work. Avenue of the Giants Marathon Training (Winter 2018)

Program Start: Saturday, January 6th, 7:45 a.m.
Program Schedule: Saturday mornings at 7:45 am, and Tuesday evenings at 5:30 pm
Goal Race: Avenue of the Giants Marathon
Program Fee: $199
Description: You can do 26.2! The Full Marathon Training Program is a program designed to prepare runners for their first ever endurance event or to help seasoned runners meet a new performance goal. The program includes a training plan designed by experienced coaches, group runs twice weekly, and a technical t-shirt. If you have completed a half marathon, are looking for a new challenge and have thought about “someday” doing a full marathon, maybe this is the year. To get the most out of this group, we suggest that you currently are able to run or run/walk 9 miles, have completed a half marathon recently and be able to maintain a 14 minute per mile pace or faster. Group meets on Tuesdays, 5:30 p.m., for speed work and Saturday mornings at 7:45 a.m. for long runs at various locations in Sonoma County.
