Sonoma County Human Race 2016

Sonoma County Human Race – May 7, 2016

3K and 10K race through Howarth and Spring Lake Parks in Santa Rosa

The timed runners start at 8 am from Herbert Slater Middle School in Santa Rosa.

Timed runners receive a free t-shirt, pancake breakfast and event medal.

The Human Race has been voted the best fundraiser in Sonoma County for the past 4 years by the Press Democrat readers.  This event is a giant community fundraiser for nonprofits throughout Sonoma County that has a timed race component within it.   Though we encourage all participants in the Human Race to raise additional monies for their favorite nonprofit, a portion of the timed runner fee will be donated to the Volunteer Center and all their programs – Secret Santa, Volunteer Wheels, Literacy in Schools, to name a few – that they operate.

This year the Human Race reflects back to its very first year (1981) 35 years ago and celebrates all the glory and fun of the 1980s!  BIG hair and costumes are encouraged.  For more information, go to www.humanracenow.org  or call 707.573.3399  ext 104.
